The Man Whose Mouse Roared

Douglas Engelbart invented the computer mouse in 1963 when he was a researcher at the famous Stanford Research Institute, one of the most remarkable loci of technological innovation in the world.  Here is a video in which he explains the provenance of his now-ubiquitous invention.  Engelbart passed away on July 2, 2013, at age 88.
