Cinnamon Bay Bioblitz
Gail Karlsson, an accomplished environmental law attorney who used to work for the United Nations, let me know she published a cool article on January 28, 2017, about a "Bioblitz" in which she and my Biodiversity Law class participated. Several of my students are pictured in the article. Led by Renata Platenberg (Professor at the University of the Virgin Islands) and Laurel Brannick (Park Ranger at Virgin Islands National Park), the bioblitz rapidly surveyed the biodiversity of Cinnamon Bay on the United States Virgin Island of Saint John.

When Pigouvians Fly
Economists Martin Feldstein (Harvard) and Gregory Mankiw (Harvard), along with Ted Halstead (Climate Leadership Council), published as clear and concise a paean to carbon taxes as I have ever read, in the February 8, 2017, New York Times. Arthur Pigou would approve. If only public policy could live up to this standard of logic and common sense.
