Evolution Evolves

The international science journal Nature has published a debate between two groups of biologists about whether or not evolutionary biological theory needs to be updated to accommodate "new" scientific insights.  Appearing in the October 9, 2014, issue, the debate is entitled "Doe evolutionary theory need a rethink?"  Professor Kevin Laland (University of Saint Andrews) and friends argue in favor, while Professor Hopi Hoekstra (Harvard University) and friends argue against.  Despite their disagreements, both sides in this scholarly debate strongly support Darwin's theory of evolution.
